Who we are
Some names are chosen because they sound good - my family was shaped by the rise of the age of the atom.
Atomic golf is a blending reflection of my home for my whole life - Aiken, South Carolina. A town steeped in golf history for well over a century by the likes of Palmetto Golf Club and Aiken Golf Club. And in the 1950s, Aiken saw the construction and operation of a government nuclear site called the Savannah River Site, where generations of skilled nuclear workers came together to win the Cold War. A few of which were my grandfather, who worked 41 years as a reactor operator, as well as my dad, who gave more than 30 years to the nuclear industry too. I grew up understanding several founding principles - hard work, quality and craftsmanship mean something. Atomic golf is a reflection of my personal history and hometown. It’s not just a name. It’s part of who I am.
That ethos is in every ball marker we produce.
Atomic Golf crafts premium, American-made ball markers in solid copper and brass - materials chosen because of quality and craftsmanship. They develop a patina. They have weight. They feel like something worth keeping - because they are. Each piece is handcrafted right here in America and built to outlast the round, the season, and the bag it travels in.
Whether you need 500 or 50,000 units, Atomic Golf is focused on providing curated quantity to golf courses, clubs, resorts, and organizers of all kinds - anyone who believes the details define the experience. Whether your markers live in the pro shop, arrive as a guest amenity, or carry your club’s crest as a custom branded piece, Atomic Golf delivers an object that quietly reflects the standard you hold yourself to. And mass production is no problem, it’s mass production curated with care. The end result? Producing something genuinely worth passing down.
Some of the clubs we work with - Landmand, Old Barnwell, Congaree, Lake Merced Golf Club, Sweetens Cove, The Fields Golf Club, Columbus Country Club and more.
Ready to put an Atomic Golf ball marker in your guests’ hands? We’d love to hear from you here.
Sincerely,
Joel Leopard, Owner//Creator
